Hall of Fame Inductees

Nick Adams

Every true Coquitlam Rangers fan remembers where they were on the day of February 17, 2002 at 3:23pm. This was the moment when Nick Adams scored his second and game winning goal vs. Moist. This historical goal was extremely important because this was the final nail in the coffin that defeated Moist in the first league meeting between the two teams. It also catapulted Rangers into first place in the league. They would never be caught after that going on to win their 1st HT league title.

An even stranger occurance that day was that Nick Adams was not even scheduled to start on that fateful Sunday. GM Rob Abel said he had a hunch and played Adams at midfield. Abel was not wrong with this prediction. Nick Adams scored 2 goals earning 'Man of the Match' honors, and the 'Player of the Year' award at the annual awards dinner. Nick Adams' stay with Rangers was not long, but what he did with his time with Rangers will never be forgotten. Nick Adams, a true Rangers hero and legend.

Inducted into the Rangers Hall Of Fame March 28, 2003.

One Coquitlam Rangers player will be inducted into the Hall of Fame every season prior to the annual Moist-Rangers game. The induction and game occur upon the first friendly match following qualification.
